Sketch and Product Challenge 25: Buttons!

It's time for another Limelight Sketch and Product Challenge! And the focus this time around is on BUTTONS! Seriously...who doesn't LOVE buttons? :) For my card, I (of course!) used some new Basic Grey! I used papers all from the Lemonade 6x6 Paper Pad, other than the cardstock matting! I used SU Kraft as my card base and Basic Black for the mats for the layers. The stamp set used is Birdie Inspiration from Unity Stamp Co... What a cute, fun set! And you can get it for 20% off this week only!! :) I stamped the frame in Adirondack Pitch Black and the sentiment and bird in Purely Pomegranate. The focus this week was buttons, and I decided to make my own button! I changed the sketch a little bit...there should be three buttons on the bottom right, but I opted for one LARGE button. I made this using the Bazzill Chips - 1 1/4" Circles. I adhered more Lemonade paper to the "button", inked the edges in Purely Pomegranate ink, and added Wine Rhinestones for the button holes.

Happy Birdie Favor

Just a quick post today! Not a great picture, but this is a card I made along with one of the NEW Basic Grey Lemonade Do Me a Favors! What a great little birthday set, right? :) The layout for the card is one of our former Limelight Sketch and Product Challenge sketches that I just LOVE and turn to all the time! :) The featured papers are all from the Lemonade collection, and the rhinestones on the butterfly are the NEW Kaisercraft Wine color. :) Lovely!

The favors are SUPER-EASY with the directions, and the edges are super-smooth, even though they are die cuts! You know how sometimes you punch out die cuts and are left with the icky, bumpy rough edges? I was excited to not have that happen with these. Possibly the best thing is what the treat favor is filled with! Have you seen these??

YUM! These are a must-try... COCONUT m&m's. I'll leave you on that note.

Six Chicks Challenge - Stars and Stripes!

It's the SIXTH! That means it is time for a Six Chicks Project Parade.... And this month, the focus is on Stars and Stripes! For my project, I chose to create a candy bar wrap using the striped paper from the new June Bug collection! This will make a perfect addition to the baby gift I am bringing a friend today! Of course, the chocolate will be for the mommy, not the baby. ;)
